چکیده
Aim: To determine the effects of Hand-arm Bimanual Intensive Training on fine motor skills chronic stroke patients. Methods: A randomized control trail was conducted at District Head Quarter Hospital Sargodha. Twenty-eight patients were into 2 groups. All examined by using Questionnaire Disabilities Arm, Shoulder, and Hand (DASH), Action Research Arm Test (ARAT) Wolf Motor Function (WMFT). Control group treated with Conventional Physical Therapy experimental Training. There 3 sessions every week for a total 12 over course 4 weeks. At beginning intervention, two weeks later, four all outcomes evaluated. Data analysis done SPSS version 21. Results: Intra showed statistically significant results (p<0.001) in each after treatment indicating improvement (WMFT) both However, based their mean differences, demonstrated greater progress across outcome measures which is indicated through Inter that difference present between groups DASH, ARAT WMFT p-values 0.045, 0.046 0.043 respectively end treatment. Practical implications: HABIT pays attention to bimanual training highly related most ADL tasks so there need evaluate effectiveness HABIT-related interventions. This will help promote improvements upper extremity functions enhance level independence among Conclusion: Study concluded conventional physical therapy hand arm intensive (HABIT) are helpful improving abilities patients, but more beneficial as compared usual routine rehab treatments. Keywords: HABIT, skills, therapy, extremity, stroke.

Objectives: Spastic hemiplegia cerebral palsy is the second type of cerebral palsy among pre-mature infants, which affects the mobility of one side of the body by impairing the brain’s ability to send nerve impulse to the muscles. The present research aims to examine the effect of motor training in mirror therapy on the gross motor skills in Spastic Hemiplegia Cerebral Palsy (SHCP) childr...

متن کاملShort-term Efficacy of Hand-Arm Bimanual Intensive Training on Upper Arm Function in Acute Stroke Patients: A Randomized Controlled Trial
Background Rehabilitation training during the acute phase of stroke (<48 h) markedly improves impaired upper-limb movement. Hand-arm bimanual intensive training (HABIT) represents an intervention that promotes improvements in upper extremity function in children with cerebral palsy. This study repurposed HABIT in acute stroke patients and assessed recovery of upper extremity function when compa...
